Trident Esports is a former Australia / New Zealand team that no longer has a team in Call of Duty. They currently have teams in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Overwatch.

History[]

Trident Esports is a multi-platform eSports organisation established by Cody “BlackJackFx” on the 25th of August 2012. Since Trident's formation, they have ascertained a number of achievements both online and offline, thus in turn making their way to the top the Australian eSports scene, and even abroad. To compete in the top tier of Australian eSports is no easy feat, through the dedication of both the players and the managers Trident has played in a multitude of leagues, these include: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Invite (CGi) League, Kingston Call of Duty 4: Invite League, Call of Duty Premier League, CGPL Premier League for Counter Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends Pro League. We strive to maintain a high level of standard from their players, and in turn expect them to compete at every level of Australian eSports.

2014 Call of Duty Championships[]

The 2014 Call of Duty Championships was the first time we heard about the Trident organization as they were represented by the T1 Dotters roster. Coming into the biggest tournament of the year this team got noticed quickly as they swept there pool 3-0 containing some of the top teams such as FaZe Clan, SK Gaming and Aztek Gaming. T1 would go on to finish 5th in the tournament bring home $70,000 and taking out other top teams such as Vitality.Returns, and Rise Nation before falling to OpTic Gaming in the winners bracket quarterfinals. T1 would go on to get eliminated from the tournament in the following round of the losers bracket to Team EnVyUs.

After placing well at Champs, the American scene became extremely fond of the T1 Dotters roster, so much so that the Curse organization decided to pick them up as the new Oceanic COD roster. This mean't their departure from Trident.

2015 Pre-Season[]

After many different rosters changes, just before the 2015 Call of Duty Championships the organization settled for Macka, Envious, Hysteria and Azzi.
