Biography[]
Advanced Warfare[]
Nagafen began to make his name known during Advanced Warfare. He and his teammates on team Revenge turned many heads during the MLG Pro League Season 2 qualification as well as NA Regionals for Call of Duty Championship 2015. During Revenge's run at Call of Duty Championship 2015 Nagafen was recognized as a truly unique player. He was praised by casters for his intelligent movement style, excellent sniping ability, and calm demeanor paired with tons of in-game composure. Aches, as he is known to do, recognized this talent in forming the Prophecy NA squad for Season 2, where he and Nagafen played alongside Apathy and his old teammate Aqua. The team failed to qualify for MLG Season 2 Playoffs. Nagafen was eventually replaced for Octane, another player recognized as new talent. Nagafen joined his former teammate from team Revenge, Remy, to form Epsilon.NA with Swanny, an established EU pro, and Royalty. The team qualified for MLG Season 3 at the Season 2 Regulation by finishing 2nd place behind Isolation. Parasite then replaced Swanny, and the team saw success under Parasite's leadership. Nagafen continued to show his prowess in the Search and Destroy mode, as well as fast SMG play in respawn modes.
Black Ops 3[]
In Black Ops 3, Nagafen reunited with his Team Revenge teammates AquA, Faccento and Remy. They were signed by Elevate. Thanks to their consistent play and incredible team chemistry, eLevate was considered a successful squad. After Season 1 of the CoD World League, Nagafen became a household name in the competitive CoD scene. His crazy sniper shots and elaborate routes around the map became a regular sight on the CWL's Top 5 Plays segment. In fact, many say that it was Nagafen that popularized the P06 Sniper rifle in competitive Search and Destroy. Elevate showed up at the MLG Anaheim Open 2016, until they were reverse swept by OpTic Gaming in the grand finals for a second place finish. In the weeks following, the team dropped from fourth to ninth in 2016 NA CWL Stage 2 Regular Season and missed out on 2016 NA CWL Stage 2 Playoffs by map win percentage. Despite this, Nagafen and his squad continued to impress, failing to place out of the top 3 at the remaining major LAN events in Black Ops 3.
Infinite Warfare[]
Evil Geniuses picked Nagafen up, along with NAMELESS, StuDyy, and Havok. They finished last at the PlayStation Experience Invitational. The team remained consistently average throughout the season, as they placed Top 8, To 20, Top 8, and Top 8 at the open events and then Top 8 at the Pro League Stage 1 Playoffs. Looking for a change, StuDyy was swapped out for Parasite. Their placings improved marginally at the CWL Anaheim Open with a Top 6 finish but then fell off as they ended Pro League Stage 12 with a Top 12 finish and the Call of Duty World League Championship 2017 in dead last.
World War II[]
The EG roster broke apart following the poor end to the season and Nagafen found a home on Next Threat with Censor, Ricky, and Methodz. After a Top 16 finish at the CWL Dallas Open, Next Threat went north of the border to the CWL North Arena Showdown. They finished fourth out of eight teams. Nagafen then left Next Threat to join Ground Zero. His time there was brief the squad was signed by compLexity Gaming for the CWL New Orleans Open less than two weeks later. At the event, compLexity finished Top 20 and Nagafen was released. He rejoined Next Threat, this time with Censor, Mochila, and Blazt. After a few average online placings, including a Top 4 finish in the CWL National Circuit United States 2018 Stage 1, he joined Cyclone. They finished last in the CWL National Circuit United States 2018 Stage 2 and disbanded afterwards. During the circuit, Nagafen filled in for Saints on Echo Fox with Aqua during the CWL Paris Open. He played well and the team finished Top 8. This landed him a spot on the pickup team Vast eSports for the SEAttle Open with Theory, Maux, and Proto. The squad finished Top 28. Nagafen then joined Elevate for another disappointing finish at the Anaheim Open. In a last shot at WW2 success, Nagafen joined GAS Gaming with Blfire, Knight, and KiSMET. they finished Top 24 at the Call of Duty World League Championship 2018 Last Chance Qualifier.
Black Ops 4[]
Nagafen joined Spacely, Maux, MajorManiak, and Havok in going into the season. The team announced that they would go orgless into the CWL Las Vegas Open hoping to increase their stock should they qualify for the CWL Pro League. Right before the event, Str8 Rippin signed the roster for the event only. The team placed Top 8, then competed as Team Space at the Pro League Qualifier and made it into the league. After qualifying, they found their pay day as they were signed by esports giants Gen.G.
Trivia[]
- Nagafen has played with AquA on four different teams since January 2015. He also was a sub on Echo Fox with AquA for the 2018 CWL Birmingham Open
