Biography[]
Black Ops 4[]
Team Heretics went into the new game by adding the young promise MettalZ to their already established lineup. They started out the season on fire by winning two out of the first three online 2Ks and the CWL Las Vegas Spanish Qualifier. At CWL Las Vegas, the team made it out of the Open Bracket in Winners by defeating one of the Open Bracket favorites FC Black 3-0. This sent them into Pool B with Evil Geniuses, Luminosity, Red Reserve, and UYU. The team went 1-3, with their only win being pool winners Evil Geniuses, and were sent to the first round of the Losers Bracket. They defeated Revenge but were then knocked out by Team Reciprocity with a Top 20 finish. This placement was good enough for them to qualify for the CWL Pro League Qualifier. At the qualifier, they solidified themselves as a top team by winning five out of the six matches in their pool, only losing to Team Envy in map 5. This gave auto qualification to the CWL Pro League 2019, the first time for a Spanish team. They got off to an unbeaten start in the Pro League with a 5-0 record, before things started to go against them with the departure of Sukry and signing the Italian player Wartex for the end of season. During the year they accumulated almost $150,000 in prize money, finishing top sixteen at Call of Duty World League Championship 2019.
Modern Warfare[]
For the debut season of the Call of Duty League, MettalZ will be a part of the franchise team of Toronto Ultra with Methodz, Brack, Loony, Classic, Mayhem, Bance, Cammy, CleanX, and Heretics teammate Lucky.
The first starting roster of Loony, Methodz, MettalZ, Classic, and Cammy was announced on January 21, 2020.
Ultra defeated Seattle Surge in map five before losing to home team Minnesota RØKKR 1-3 at Launch Weekend. The following week in London, English player Bance was switched onto the starting roster for MettalZ. Leading up to Week 5, the Ultra added MettalZ back into the starting lineup, replacing the captain Loony. For the first time since Launch Weekend, the team won a series by defeating Florida. After that series, however, the went on to lose versus Dallas Empire 2-3 and also their rematch against Florida Mutineers with a great MettalZ performance. The new lineup continued to improve by advancing out of the group stage for the first time after defeating New York Subliners and Minnesota RØKKR in Week 7. They lost to OpTic Gaming Los Angeles in the semifinal in map five round 11, but seemed to have finally established a consistent starting roster to improve with.
The team did not scrim while he was gone into Week 9. Classic returned in time for the weekend and took his spot back after personal problems for CleanX. The went on to lose 3-1 to LA Guerrillas and 3-0 to the Huntsmen. To make things more confusing, CleanX officially joined the starting roster just days after the event and a day before Week 10. This would mark the first time in CDL history that a team fielded a roster with players from five different countries. After narrowly losing to Atlanta FaZe, the Ultra beat up on OpTic Gaming 3-0 in one of the most dominant series of the season including a 250-49 Hackney Yard hardpoint win. New York Subliners would knock them out in the next round. Classic replaced MettalZ in Week 11 and moved into Toronto Black team.
