Biography[]
Ghosts[]
MRuiz came into the scene on Onslaught eSports during Ghosts and found success with the team by placing second at the Gamers For Giving and winning the MES Detroit 2.5K event with ExiB, Kade, and Revolt.
Advanced Warfare[]
MRuiz started the year still on Onslaught eSports and the team started the year by replacing Revolt with General and the team won their first event at MES Detroit 10K. The team then won the Gamers For Giving and after the team joined the org Enigma6 Group, which is owned by General and his parents. This team Enigma 6 (consisting of General, ExiB and Kade) surprised and impressed many by taking down many top tier professional teams including Team EnVy at UMG California, where they placed third. After Cali, MRuiz went on to win MES Detroit 20K with Enigma 6 once again defeating teams with well-known professionals including Parasite and ProoFy. Despite the team's initial success, they began to have average placements in online tournaments and went through several roster changes and ended up with MRuiz, General, Parasite, and Proofy. This new look Enigma6 Group roster only placed a disappointing top 16 at UMG Dallas and MRuiz was then dropped. MRuiz then found himself teaming with ExiB and Kade again on Tactical Turtles with Grizzly their fourth. The Tactical Turtles didn't perform too well only placing top 6 at MES Detroit 25K and top 28 at UMG Washington DC. MRuiz then ended the year playing for Lethal Gaming alongside Kade, Holler, and Proto, and the team had a decent run at MLG World Finals where they made it through the open bracket into pools and was starting to make a loser bracket run before losing in a game 5 to Dream Team en route to a top 16 placement.
Black Ops 3[]
MRuiz started the year back on Onslaught eSports teaming with ExiB, Chawn, and Murrica. This team started out well qualifying for the pA League Season 1 at the pA League Season 1 Qualifier 1 and winning the MES Detroit 10K. The team then dropped Chawn and Murrica for Kade and Anthrax, and continued to perform well winning the MES 20K, but then only managed to place top 5 in the pA League Season 1 Regular Season and top 5 in the pA League Season 1 Playoffs. MRuiz then found himself back on the Enigma6 Group with General, Kade, and ExiB, and the team won the Gamers for Giving and the MES GameFest. MRuiz ended the year placing second in the eBash August Tournmanet with ExiB, Chimchar, and Shelly; and winning the eBash Finale on Cyclone with ExiB, Copier, and Kade.
Infinite Warfare[]
Once again MRuiz found his way back on Enigma6 Group with General, Kade, and Proto. The team started out playing adequately online and turned it into a surprising run at the first event at the CWL Las Vegas Open. At Vegas, Enigma6 Group managed to make it through the open bracket into pools where they shocked many by finishing 3-0 beating Rise Nation, OpTic Gaming, and Revenge without dropping a map. Eventually Enigma6 Group lost to OpTic Gaming in the losers bracket and ended with a solid top 8 placement. The team then saw modest success online and was hoping to carry that into the CWL Atlanta Open and despite starting in pools, the team only managed a top 16 placement. They then improved slightly at the CWL Paris Open where they made it through the open bracket, but lost back to back game 5s against Rise Nation and Evil Geniuses en route to a top 12 placement. The team then began to play better online including winning a MLG 2K, but they still only placed top 12 again at the CWL Dallas Open. The team kept performing well online winning another MLG 2K and carried that performance into the CWL Pro League Stage 1, where they made it into playoffs and beat eUnited in a game 5, but lost to Splyce in a game 5, and lost to OpTic Gaming in the loser bracket for a top 6 placement. After that placement, MRuiz declared that he was going to "retire", which was just a tactic that Enigma6 Group used to drop him. MRuiz then didn't retire and started teaming with Chandler and former teammates ExiB and Copier under Oxygen Black. This new team wasn't able to make it through the open bracket at CWL Anaheim Open and only finished with a top 28 placement. To end the year, MRuiz joined Echo Fox alongside Methodz, Replays, and Mosh, and the team was able to qualify for CWL Champs at the NA CWL LCQ only dropping one map. At the CWL Championship Echo Fox was unable to make it through the pools and placed top 24 losing to Epsilon Esports and OpTic Gaming.
World War II[]
MRuiz started the year on HavoK eSports with Holler and former teammates ExiB and Kade. Thee team struggled online and only managed a top 32 at CWL Dallas Open failing to make it out of the open bracket. MRuiz then went through several team changes before landing with T3H Esports with ShuKz, DraMa, and eeroomhsoJ, but the team only placed top 40. MRuiz then joined Forfeit Gaming with DraMa, Riviction, and Brack, but the team was just shy of making it through the open bracket at the SEAttle Open finishing top 28. MRUiz then went through a few roster changes and ended up teaming with MuTeX, Remy, and Knight under Legicide at the CWL Anaheim Open, but once again the team failed to make it through the open bracket with a poor top 40 placement. Hoping to end the year on a high note, MRuiz joined HavoK eSports alongside FA5TBALLA, Beehzy, and Remy at the CWL Championship LCQ where they were able to qualify for CWL Champs. However, at the CWL Championship, HavoK eSports failed to make it out of the pools as they were unable to win a map.
Black Ops 4[]
After an underwhelming year, MRuiz was hoping to turn things around and it started with decent online performance and then still under HavoK eSports he won the MES Detroit with FA5TBALLA, Beehzy, ProFeeZy, and Archivs. This team then replaced Archivs with Believe and changed orgs to Excelerate Gaming, and this new team saw decent success online and carried that into the CWL Las Vegas Open where they managed to battle through the open bracket and into pools for an eventual top 20 placement. This placement was good enough to grant Excelerate Gaming a chance to play in the CWL Pro League Qualifier, where with the help of Pemby as the coach, they would stun many by qualifying for the CWL Pro League beating Fact Revolution, FaZe Clan, and Team Sween in bracket play. In the CWL Pro League, the team went 1-2 in the first week and made to controversial decision to drop FA5TBALLA for the substitute RobbieB3319. This change didn't seem to help as the team proceeded to go 0-4 in the next week. However, it was not all bad as MRuiz managed to show off his blackout skill with Believe as the duo won the CWL Blackout After Dark 2019-02-22. Excelerate Gaming then dropped the entire roster in another controversial move, but decided to bring back MRuiz and ProFeeZy to team with Brack, JetLi, and Skyz with Atura as the coach. This new look Excelerate Gaming didn't have much time to practice ahead of CWL Fort Worth so it's not too much of a surprise that they finished with a worst possible top 16 placement. The team then looked better back at the CWL Pro League as they lost two close game 5 series against top teams and ended the week beating two teams with 3-0s. Ahead of the next CWL event, MRuiz teamed with a bunch of amateur players and won another MES Detroit Open.
