Biography[]
Beginnings[]
FeLo became well known in the online Search and Destroy and online tournament scene around the Call of Duty: Ghosts season, and began to play frequently with other top amateur and professional players.
Advanced Warfare[]
Following the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, FeLo began attempts to become a professional player, joining newly formed organization Automatic Reload, alongside veteran players Burns, Blfire and Tipsy. Throughout the Advanced Warfare season, FeLo moved around a number of teams, playing alongside established players including MerK, John and PHiZZURP. After a number of solid placings, including two top 8 finishes at both UMG Orlando 2015 and UMG Dallas 2015, FeLo's talent earned him a spot on the Enigma6 roster. Led by General, and playing with John and ProoFy, this team performed well in the online MLG GameBattles 5K and 10K tournaments, but disappointed at their only event together, UMG Washington DC 2015, placing top 20. FeLo attended the MLG World Finals 2015 with PHiZZURP, KiLLa and StuDyy, under XGN Competitive, again placing top 20.
Black Ops 3[]
FeLo joined Counter Logic Gaming for the beginning of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III season, joining former teammates Methodz and Blfire. The team qualified for Stage 1 of the NA CWL Regular season, where they placed 12th, failing to make the playoffs. After failing to qualify for Stage 2, FeLo left CLG to join Elevate, replacing Remy. Now playing with Nagafen, Faccento and AquA, FeLo managed the highest placing of his career, as well as his highest prize claim, when the team placed 2nd at MLG Anaheim 2016. The team was one of the favorites heading into Stage 2 of the NA CWL, but fell short of playoffs once more, placing 9th.
Despite this, the team stuck together for the final tournaments of the Black Ops III season, managing 3rd place at MLG Orlando Open 2016, before qualifying for the 2016 Call of Duty World League Championship. At the World Championship, Elevate were placed in group E, with FaZe Clan, Most Wanted and Giants Gaming. They comfortably beat both Giants and Most Wanted, but fell 3-0 to FaZe, placing 2nd in their group. In the winners bracket, the team went on an impressive run, taking out Team Kaliber, Cloud9 and Rise Nation on their way to the winners bracket final. Here though, they played eventual winners Team Envy, and fell 3-2 in a very close match. Playing European team Splyce in the losers final, they were swept 3-0, finishing 3rd. The placing netted FeLo $37,500, his biggest winnings of his career so far.
Infinite Warfare[]
Elevate disbanded their North American roster at the beginning of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare season, and FeLo, AquA and Faccento joined Rise Nation. Captained by Loony, the team started the season very strongly, winning the opening event, 2017 CWL Las Vegas Open. It was FeLo's first major tournament win, as well as AquA and Faccento's. The team was unable to sustain their performance at subsequent events however, and despite a 3rd place finish at CWL Paris 2017, failed to place in the top 8 at any further tournaments. Regardless, and even despite not making playoffs for either Stage 1 or Stage 2 of the CWL Pro League, FeLo and his team once again outperformed expectations at the World Championship. Placed in group D with Luminosity, Team Vitality and Supremacy, Rise upset Luminosity to top the group. However, after making the winners bracket, Rise were were beaten in a shock defeat by European side Team Infused 3-1. FeLo and his team, similar to the previous year's World Championship, were forced to make a losers bracket run, but did so, taking down Str8 Rippin, Allegiance and Ghost Gaming, to secure top 6. Playing FaZe Clan for top 4, they pulled off yet another somewhat upset win, in a very close match, winning 3-2. However, up against their opponents from group D in the losers semi, they were beaten by Luminosity. It was another top 4 finish for FeLo back to back years at World Championships though, and made up for a lacklustre year more generally.
WWII[]
Rise replaced Faccento with returning player to the pro scene, TJHaLy, who had been unable to compete since Advanced Warfare due to age restrictions. The team attended the 2018 CWL Dallas Open, but did not play particularly well in pool play nor the bracket, and eventually were eliminated in top 16 by Enigma6. FeLo left the team to join CompLexity, who were making their return to Call of Duty esports, joining Parasite, StuDyy and Nagafen. Failing to make Stage 1 of the CWL Pro League after placing top 20 at the next event, 2018 CWL New Orleans Open, the team dropped Nagafen in favor of Dashy.
Trivia[]
